Putnam City Families and Staff,
We hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Due to hazardous road and sidewalk conditions, Putnam City Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26. This closure includes all classes, extracurricular activities, and after-school programs.
This morning, district transportation staff and administrators traveled bus routes and inspected school parking lots and sidewalks across the district. Based on these assessments, conditions were determined to be unsafe for students, staff, and families.

District teams will reassess roads, sidewalks, and school sites tomorrow to determine whether additional closures are necessary. We will communicate any updates as soon as decisions are made.
